This blog came out of from my experiences and passion in remodeling and restoring homes. I started my journey by doing light remodels of my rental properties in Seattle. Over the years, as I have grown bolder my appetite for restoring homes in neglected state increased. I have bought homes that are either abandoned or had significant deferred maintenance over the years.  In the due course, I have come across some  homes that were bungalows during its hey days. Restoring such homes involves structural remediation, updating electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems as well as remodeling the home to suit modern comforts.  When the restoration is all completed, I would consider the project a success just for the fact that the once forgotten home is now a part of the community.
